The assault rifle replica which was the standard rifle of American troops during the Vietnam conflict, is made of metal and ABS plastic. The front-grip, the body and the butt-stock which holds the battery and the front grip's covering panels  are made of plastics. The rest of the elements such as the outer barrel, the cocking handle, the grips and most of the minor elements are made of metal. The casing of its short, often called 'Vietnam type' hi-cap magazine (which holds 190 BB pellets) is also made of metal.

The long barrel (510mm) ensures a high precision of shots what in combination with the muzzle velocity of about 360FPS what makes the replica a very precise weapon which is perfect for the first line assaultman and for a sniper. The barrel is ended with a 14mm counter-clockwise thread which allows to mount a sound suppressor. 

The replica is equipped with a reinforced gearbox frame and a metal spring guide and also metal thread-wheels with eight anti-reversal levers and a bearing motor thread.
