Oleophobic coating

The oleophobic coating has an anti-smudge effect. With this you get lenses with a smoother surface, which prevents dust, oil, dirt and water from sticking to the lens. A pair of lenses that are smudge-free and easy to clean thanks to this high-performance coating.

Side shields

With side shields, you can attach additional protection to your sunglasses. With side shields, you add additional protection to your peripheral vision, i.e. protection against fragments and the like, which is not offered without side shields due to the flat design of the glasses.

Side shields can also be installed permanently, adding long-lasting protection to your peripheral vision. Simply add the included plug to make the side shields permanent.

Please note, however, that once the plug is inserted, the side shields cannot be removed.

Impact Protection

ANSI Z87.1-2010

The civilian standard for safety eyewear is indicated by a Z87+ marking indicating that it meets ANSI Z87.1 standards. Although currently unmarked, the Military Ballistic Standard 662 means that a product meets military-grade standards. The difference between the two standards is significant.

Z87+ markings on safety glasses and goggles indicate that the eyewear meets ANSI Z87.1 high-impact standards and ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 industrial eyewear safety standards. Safety eyewear that meets these criteria is used in a variety of industrial and personal applications.

EN.166F

EN 166F is a European standard for eye protection, specifically indicating low-energy impact resistance. This standard means that the goggles can withstand a 6 mm steel ball traveling at 45 m/s, according to Betafit. The “F” signifies this low-energy impact resistance. EN 166 itself is the general standard for all eye protection in Europe.
