LayLax Battle Style LUX (Light-Universal eXtract) is a universal holster designed for pistols and replicas equipped with a tactical flashlight, the retention system being adapted mainly depending on the shape and dimensions of the mounted flashlight.

The LUX – Light-Universal eXtract system allows the holster to be adjusted for a wide range of pistol-flashlight combinations. The adjustment allows for secure fixation of the assembly, while maintaining a quick and intuitive extraction.

An important advantage is the compatibility with pistols equipped with red dot / micro red dot optical systems. The upper part is open, so that the optics mounted on the sleeve do not prevent the pistol from being inserted into the holster.

The holster also features 360° angle adjustment, in 24 positions, allowing the carrying position to be configured. The construction is made of durable polymer, LayLax describes the material as being of “military-grade” level, intended for use in airsoft and tactical training.

LayLax states that the system is intended for a wide range of pistols and flashlights, but compatibility depends on the configuration of the pistol and, in particular, the flashlight installed. The manufacturer explicitly states that it is not compatible with the HK USP series when the pistol uses a retrofitted Picatinny rail.

Also, the adjustment screws should be checked and properly tightened before use and periodically in case of intensive use.
