M1 CARBINE PARATROOPER - MODEL GUN
In 1941, as the United States was drawn into one of the largest conflicts in world history, a division of General Motors was tasked with supporting the war effort.
The result was the history of firearms, with Inland Manufacturing becoming one of the largest gun manufacturers in the United States, producing nearly 3 million firearms in less than 5 years.
The most notable of the Inland firearms production was the .30 Caliber M1 rifle and the foldable variant, the M1A1 Paratrooper.
As production allowed, M1A1 carbines were transmitted to all U.S. military paratroop units and saw use in every U.S. World War II air operation, including Sicily, Normandy (Z-Day), Market Garden, and Operation Varsity. (Rin Jump). A limited number of M1A1 rifles were also issued to the US Navy's First Parachute Regiment, although marine paratroopers were never deployed in parachute combat. Not all paratroopers used M1A1 rifles, and some received standard (full-stock) M1 rifles instead.
With this M1A1 Ver.2 model, you can enjoy a light and intense recoil shock, by adopting a hard aluminum cartridge with stable ignition performance, revising the structure and improving the operating performance. The body is made of high quality walnut wood with an oily finish that feels good to the touch.
