LI-PO BATTERY ULTRA POWER - 11.1V - 1300MAH - 20C - 40C
Technical specifications
Nominal voltage: 11.1 V (3S – three cells in series)
Capacity: 1300 mAh
Continuous discharge rate: 20 C (≈ 26 A)
Peak discharge rate: 40 C (≈ 52 A)
Package type: Mini-Type Stick
Connector: Mini-Tamiya
Dimensions: 6.1 x 21 x 130 mm
Typical use: powering medium to large AEG replicas
Associated hazards and risks
Deep discharge
If the voltage drops below ~3.0 V/cell, the battery is irreversibly damaged.
It may become unusable or dangerous when recharged.
Overcharge
Above 4.2 V/cell there is a risk of swelling, toxic gas leakage, fire or explosion.
Charging should only be done with a Li-Po charger with a balancing function.
Too high current (above the C limit)
If the replica requires more current than the battery can deliver, it will overheat.
Internal short circuit and fire may occur.
Mechanical punctures or impacts
Physical damage to the cells can lead to violent chemical reactions → instant flame.
Inappropriate temperature
>60 °C: rapid degradation, risk of explosion.
<0 °C: poor performance, risk when charging.
Unattended charging
There have been cases of fires during charging.
Charging should be done under supervision and in a fireproof bag (Li-Po bag).
Storage and safety when not in use
Do not leave the battery completely discharged; the voltage must be within the recommended range (~3.8 V/cell for storage).
Do not leave the battery connected to the replica when not in use. Even if the replica is turned off, "parasite" consumption can discharge the battery below the safe limit.
Store the battery in a cool place, away from fire and, ideally, in a fireproof bag.
Damaged, swollen or deformed batteries should not be used.
Safety recommendations
Use only dedicated Li-Po chargers with balancing.
Check and maintain the appropriate charge level for storage.
Do not expose the battery to water, shock or short circuits.
