LI-PO - BATTERY 7.4V - 1450MAH - 30C
Technical specifications
Nominal voltage: 7.4 V (2S – two cells in series)
Capacity: 1450 mAh
Continuous discharge rate: 30 C
Connector: Tamiya mica
Estimated dimensions: 115 mm length × 16 mm width × 6 mm thickness
Estimated weight: ~ 100 g
Associated hazards and risks
Deep discharge (below ~3.0 V/cell) — risk of irreversible damage and loss of performance.
Overcharge (above ~4.2 V/cell) — significant risk of swelling, fire or explosion.
Current above 30 C rate — using the battery at currents higher than those for which it is designed can lead to overheating and rapid wear.
Impact, deformations/perforations — can compromise the integrity of the case or cells, leading to short circuits or dangerous chemical reactions.
Extreme temperatures:
above ~60-65 °C → risk of major damage, fire;
below 0 °C → reduced performance, risk of damage if the battery is charged/used at low temperatures.
Unattended charging — can cause fires or other accidents; it is recommended to supervise charging, using safety accessories (fireproof bag, non-flammable support).
Poor storage — keeping at maximum voltage, connected to the replica when not in use, or storing at inappropriate temperatures can shorten the lifespan and increase the risk of defects.
Safety recommendations
Disconnect the battery from the replica immediately after use to avoid parasitic discharge.
Always charge under supervision and, preferably, in a fireproof bag, on a non-flammable surface.
Store the battery at approximately 3.8 V per cell if you are not using it for a few days; cool, dry place away from heat sources.
Inspect the battery before each use: if you notice signs such as swelling, deformation, unusual odor or excessive heating, do not use it.
