LI-PO - BATTERY 7.4V - 1300 MAH - 25/50C TAMIYA
Technical Specifications
Nominal Voltage: 7.4 V (2S – two cells in series)
Capacity: 1300 mAh
Continuous Discharge Rate (Constant): 25 C
Peak Discharge Rate (Burst): 50 C
Small Tamiya / Stick Type – usually fits in standard AEG / AK replica compartments if space supports the length of the stick.
Connector: Small Tamiya plug for power + balance connector (usually XH-3pin or similar) for charging.
Estimated Dimensions: ~ 170 mm × 20 mm × 13 mm (length × width × thickness)
Estimated Weight: ~ 70-80 g
Dangers and associated risks
Deep discharge (< ~3.0 V per cell) — leads to loss of capacity, irreversible damage.
Overcharging (> ~4.2 V per cell) — risk of swelling, fire or explosion.
Current above burst rating if constant high current is attempted — can lead to overheating, increased wear.
Mechanical shocks, punctures, deformations — can damage the case or internal cells, risk of short circuit.
Extreme temperatures:
above ~60 °C → high risk of damage and fire;
below 0 °C → poor performance and risk of damage if charged cold.
Unattended charging — accidents can occur; use of fireproof bags is recommended.
Improper storage — if left connected to the replica, fully discharged or at maximum capacity without use, it degrades faster.
Safety recommendations
Use only Li-Po chargers with balancing; check that the charger supports the discharge rating and the correct voltage.
Disconnect the battery from the replica immediately after use to avoid parasitic consumption.
Charge the battery on a non-flammable surface, ideally in a fireproof bag, and do not leave it unattended.
Store the battery at ~ 3.8 V per cell if you are not using it for a longer period of time and in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
Check the condition periodically: if the battery is swollen, deformed, has an unusual smell, oxidized contacts or loose connectors, do not use it anymore.
