TOKYO MARUI AKX - GAS BLOWBACK ZET SYSTEM
The Tokyo Marui AKX GBBR is a gas-powered airsoft (GBB) replica, a modern reinterpretation of the classic AKM platform, designed for players who want high tactical realism, strong mechanical recoil and stable performance on the airsoft field. The replica combines the traditional robustness of the AK design with modern functionalities, offering an excellent balance between versatility and ergonomics.
Gas Blowback (GBB) mechanism – operation and realism
The replica uses an internal gas propulsion system, via a gas chamber in the magazine. With each shot, compressed gas is released to set the piston and the bolt mechanism in motion, generating a realistic mechanical recoil. This recoil is transmitted through the bolt and cocking lever, providing authentic tactical feedback — much more natural than in electric replicas.
The adjustable hop-up imparts ball rotation for a more stable trajectory and increased accuracy, and the internal systems are designed for smooth, efficient, and repeatable operation.
