The AKM GBB is a gas-powered airsoft (GBB) replica designed for advanced mechanical realism and an authentic tactical experience. Made by the renowned Japanese manufacturer Tokyo Marui, this replica is intended for players looking for realistic operation, authentic recoil and mechanical behavior close to that of real weapons.
The replica is built for milsim scenarios, tactical games and advanced users, offering a premium airsoft experience by faithfully simulating the real mechanical cycle.
The Gas Blowback system uses gas stored in the magazine, which, with each shot, is released in a controlled manner into the internal mechanism, setting in motion a piston and a movable assembly. This process generates a real, perceptible recoil and activates the replica's internal mechanisms.
The pressurized gas:
- sets the bolt in motion,
- operates the cocking lever,
- produces the full recoil cycle,
- reloads the mechanism for the next shot.
This system faithfully reproduces the mechanical operation of a real weapon, clearly differentiating the GBB replica from electric systems (AEG), through real mechanical feedback, not just artificial vibration.
